This week, it’s not a proper TechGrumps episode. Last time we saw Nic, he was out “on the lash” (a reference to a recent sadomasochistic encounter, no doubt), and none of you fuckers wanted to guest host, so it’s just Tom and Ian this week, and we do cover some total shit we hate: Facebook being about as pleasant as being endlessly fisted by the an army of aging CompuServe users, Farmville (now for iPhone™!), lack of usable data export from Snowtape for Mac, Windows Phone, pornpornporn and more.
Good news for members of Steve Jobs’ ever-expanding hipster harem: TechGrumps is now in iTunes! They’ve classified us as a fucking gadget podcast, like we’re nothing more than a sweary, ranty Gizmodo for iPod or something. They also snip the swearing out of the episode descriptions (demonstration: shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, tits, spinning beachball). The iTunes link is in the sidebar. Do click, subscribe and say nice things about us. If you don’t, we’ll invite a 13-year-old Xbox Live! user on the show to assault your eardrums with leetspeak about Halo 3. You have been warned.
Next week, we’ll hopefully be back to talk about the painful shit that makes software development so godawful: crappy build tools, even crappier packaging systems, databases, programming languages (and the evil megacorporate overlords who keep them from being awesome), IDEs and the like. We will also be announcing that the only way to get our podcast is by installing an amazing new Eclipse plugin which uses our new, open SOAP-based WS-FuckYou technology to download the show into everyone’s favourite development environment, so we can inject our crack cocaine dependencies straight into your bullshit enterprise webapp while you alt-tab over to your browser to knock one out to a video of Richard M. Stallman devouring recently removed skin fragments from his disgusting, GPL-licensed feet.

ZOMFG the iTunes link seems b0rken, my iPhone says the server is not correctly configured – you fucking piece of shit, why can’t you fix this NOW!!1!!
It now works. You seem to be quite pissed off: feel free to go listen to it now, FaithfulListener. And you can blame Internet Archive. Next time, we’ll use blip.tv to host this shit.
Damn, that was quick!
> you seem to be quite pissed off
Just compensating for the general lack of grump…
